I'm having a really strange problem. One visitor to my site reports that the links show up in different colors than what I have assigned in the style sheet. I have checked the site on multiple monitors and it always looks fine to me. Does anyone have any idea??

Perhaps the visitor's browser did not support stylesheets?
If you haven't already done so, do consider using the W3C validator to check your markup and stylesheet for errors.

Did you put them in the correct order ("LoVe HAte" - Link, Visited, Hover, Active)?
