Site Design

I'm looking for suggestions for my site design, I'd like to make it more 'web 2.0', but I'm lacking inspiration at the moment. I have looked around at various inspiration sites, but haven't found a trend or style that catches my eye.

My site currently runs on Drupal, but I'm willing to try and make my own theme, or work from scratch if necessary. Currently I am using the NewsFlash theme from Roople Themes.

The color scheme I'm going for is black, red and gray. And the site will mostly be geared toward (young) men around ages 16-30 if that is of any help.

I'm also looking for volunteer(s) who would like to help with web design. I can't offer any compensation at the moment, but I can offer advertising space. The site has already went from 6 unique visitors to over 200 in less than a day.
