Can ANYONE Figure THIS OUT?

I registered MARSHMELLOWSURPRISE.COM at godaddy on Tuesday, Dec. 11th and it still hasn't translated, and it's pointing to NS1,NS2, and NS3.DREAMHOST.COM GoDaddy says it's Dreamhost's fault. Can anyone find out what's happening? Peace. West

Did you purchase hosting here and add the domain to the DreamHost system via the control panel?

According to DNSreports.com, "[ERROR: The parent servers say that the domain marshmellowsurprise.com does not exist. Note that the DNSreport only works on domains, not hostnames.]".

I'd contact support, but I'd *also* try "editing" the "fully hosted" domain and "re-saving" it (make no actual edits, just open the dialog page and submit the form again). Often, this can solve the problem by regenerating the necessary DNS entries. wink

What a difference a letter makes. marshmellowsurprise.com might still be available if you hurry, or you can add ...suprise to your hosting.

Sweetness! That was a "good catch!" (I have to admit, that I have done that myself). Years ago I had to register an additional domain as a result of typing sloppily when registering a domain for a client. wink

It seems the OP registered "marshmellowsuprise.com" when he intended to register "marshmellowsurprise.com. hence:

Who else votes for redirect to site with correct spelling instead of 2 separate sites?

Aye, must have realized his mistake and decided not to come back to comment due to embarrassment tongue

Either he edited his post, or I'm just blind. All the OP evidence (screenshot, original post) says "surprise." At least I feel like I've been let in on the joke, now.

Like funnies, "sweetness" is less when it has to be explained. Thanks for recognizing it, rlparker. wink

If those are the choices, then you better stop it. laugh

Ha ha! Yeah, his post and screenshot had it "right" ... and if he had registered the same domain he had in the post and that he added to the DH control panel, I doubt he would have had a problem. wink

Your eyes are fine!
