Hi folks. How can I turn off the ability to see subdirectory names?

I don't understand what you are asking. Do you mean seeing them listed from a web address? Can you give an example?  ?

Hi there.
For instance I have:
www.domain.com/alpha/
www.domain.com/bravo/
www.domain.com/charlie/
If I don't have an index.html in the domain, I don't want the subdirectories listed in a viewable format.

Cool, thanks. I was looking at Mac .htaccess info, so I'm half way through one in BBEdit now.
