FTP Can't upload, delete

I get this error on the WebFTP area, and with a regular FTP program it tells me I am denied anything I want to do (delete, uplolad, etc.)

Checking files:

File mycalendar.html is OK
File mycalendar.swf is OK
File mycalendar.xml is OK
Transferring files to the FTP server:

File mycalendar.html could not be transferred to the FTP server
File mycalendar.swf could not be transferred to the FTP server
File mycalendar.xml could not be transferred to the FTP server

The only things I can suggest is ensuring ftp is not disabled for the user name and ensuring that the write permissions for the folder you are writing to are correct.

In panel go to manage users, choose to edit user and unsure disallow ftp is unticked.

Also make sure that it is set to either ftp account or shell account.

To check permissions using webftp tick the box next to the folder and choose chmod in the top right. ensure owner haas write access.

I went and did and checked everything like you mentioned. Everything was set correctly, as I was using it before and never changed anyhting. However, now I am not even allowed to enter my own site (the password is correct). I get this message from the SmartFTP client that I use:
