How do I connect a registered domain (on DH) to a hosting plan?
I did the two separately, and I have no clue on how to make the domain point to my hosting plan.

Login to the control panel of your domain registrar and edit your DNS record. You will need to point the record to the DreamHost nameservers:
ns1.dreamhost.com
ns2.dreamhost.com
ns3.dreamhost.com
Once you have done that, you will need to wait a while (anywhere from 1 minute to 3 days, but usually a few hours) for your DNS record to be updated.
