Is there any way to add an image to an e-mail with out making it an atachment? I need to ad a logo to the top of an e-mail and then the text under it.

You'll have to create HTML E-mail, so that you can code up your E-mail like a website. Many E-mail clients block this by default, unless the user clicks something to show it. AFAIK that's the only way to accomplish what you ask.
Personally, I think I'd send out a plain text E-mail with your info and a link to your website where they can see everything with pretty graphics.
