.csv file ate my address book

Hi,
I imported a .csv file into my squirrel mail address book (this was exported from my mac address book via a utility). It didn't work very well - there are names and addresses with visible quote marks around them. But the real problem is they absolutely will not delete, I think because squirrel doesn't recognise them as valid addresses in the first place. What I probably need is some way to purge the address book or reset the whole mail account.
