Hello,

I've got a problem with WP-cache making my blog to load slowly. I have a memory that there is an easy fix for this, but I can't remember what this is.

Can someone enlighten me?

Thanks! :-)

Two actually:

1. Go to the Options panel and empty the cache.

2. Disable it completely, but you must also remove the item it adds to the top of your config file.

I have tried WP-Cache from time to time, but it has problems with dynamic plug-ins, and is not consistent in other ways.

WP has its own caching mechanism. Maybe not as powerful, but it helps.

I'll play around with the instructions over at http://www.maxpower.ca/how-to-configure-wp-cache-to-abate-the-digg-effect/2006/03/08/

It could be a permissions issue. The built-in cache mechanism is either none-existent or isn't that good, as wordpress sites do go down whilst being dug.

What is funky is that the default one-click install isn't working out of the box.
