Just bought "555" plan,questions regarding domains

Hello, I'm new to dreamhost as I just bought one of the 555 promo plans.
I planned to switch hosts since a while and now I really had no excuse any more.

But now to my questions:

1. Are the 5 free domains only for the first year or for as long as I keep the plan? I found nothing on a time limit but it somehow seems too good if there wasn't any.

2. I currently own 3 domains: 1 .com, 1.de, 1.net
As I opened my DH account I just registered a new one. That means I have 4 domain registrations left. Can I use these registrations to transfer my old domains or do I have to register new ones? Is there a time frame in which I have to use these free domain registrations?

3. Regarding the .de domain:
I know you don't host these, but I can still use one registered on an other host a point them to dreamhost by changing the namservers/dns, right?

Yep. There are a number of threads here in the forums on the subject as well as some good information on the wiki about hosting a .de domain at dreamhost while maintaining the registration elsewhere (because you have to!).
