Uploading files

Hello,
Here's the problem. I am trying to upload a fairly
large wav file (39MB) to a folder on my FTP and the
connection drops before the file is uploaded saying
I've exceeded my quote disk limit or something like
that. The weird thing is I can upload the same file to
a different folder in the same FTP.... how's that
possible? What am I doing wrong here?
