stats login errors

I have several subdomains, both password-protected and not. Recently, I seem to be able to only get stats for the main domain, and the others are only showing a blank screen and "loading" in the tab in Firefox for that page, or not accepting the username/password at all (I use the same login for all the stats pages). This happens with password protected ones--where the first pop-up box asking for login/password is the domain one, and the next is the stats one--the page just says "loading", and unpassword-protected ones, where the password is not accepted despite being the correct one.
Would the best solution be to make a new user for stats if this one is not working? Any help is appreciated.
