I have a domain from metspek.com and this is what he told me to do to set up the email.

This is what a guy at metspek said.

In reply to:

To check on your domain (and others), http://www.dnsstuff.com/

Also, IF you change nameservers (NAME Servers, understand? ie gorak.us is a Name....)
then of course your email will "break" unless you give the correct info to your
new Domain Name Server (DNS).

What you need to tell them is this:

Change or add the MX records -
MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net
MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net

Also, Add or change CNAME records -
CNAME mail.gorak.us mapped to pop.secureserver.net
CNAME email.gorak.us mapped to email.secureserver.net

How would I do this? Can I do this is Dreamhost CP or do I have to do it in the domain control panel?

Right now I go to my email at http://email.secureserver.net/ Since he changed the host to work here it has not worked. My email was ZAC@GORAK.US, and I would like to keep it.

I have no clue what to do, thanks.

edit:// found MX, now I need CNAME.
Would the MX be: smtp.secureserver.net and mailstore1.secureserver.net?

edit?// OK, figured out CNAME was http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/A_Records
But what is my value? and how do I map it?
