To save disk space, I have set up an alias (instead of a full mail account) to forward incoming mail to a non-DH hosted mailbox. Oddly enough my test messages to the alias have so far all been forwarded to my catch-all mailbox instead of to the specified external mailbox. Can aliases and catch-all co-exist?
I hope someone can offer me some pointers as to what I can try to fix the problem.

Should work. The catch-all should catch all not otherwise defined (including all spam guesses).

Thanks, Bob, for your prompt help! Yeah, the problem rested with silly old (and myopic) me: I failed to see the message about having to wait an hour or two for the changes to kick in. And all this time I thought I had thoroughly read the support documentation and all....
