I purchased a hosting package with domain registration nearly 10 days ago. It took 4 days for the hosting to become approved. I am still waiting for the domain name to appear. (poodwaddle.com) does anyone see it? Is it just taking its sweet time to update the dns in my part of the world? or is there some problem I should alert support about?

Yes.
That does seem too long. If you registered the domain through DH it should have been hot within 3 days.

Did you tell the panel you want the domain "fully hosted", pick a directory and all? It shows as registered at DreamHost, but is not found even from ns[1-3].dreamhost.com. If you're sure you set everything, then it's a problem for Support. Hurry, people are dying. :-)
