Email Bouncing to Webmaster

I've got a message board (phpBB) that sends a verification email from messageboard@. Problem is when spammers sign up with a fake email name (about 8-12 people a day), it bounces back to webmaster@. I have "Deleted without Bounce" specified in messageboard@'s settings, but it's still bouncing to webmaster@. Anyone have a clue why?

Is webmaster@ your admin email address in your General Configuration settings? In the bounced message, which header, if any, says webmaster@yourdomain.com? You say the mail comes from messageboard@, but is there a Reply-To address as well?

OK, heres what I see:

When I signed up for the forum with a secondary email address, the email came from messageboard@. When I hit reply, it sends mail TO messageboard@. When the messageboard@ sends mail to a FAKE email name (foobarbaz@nodomain.nowhere), it comes back to my mailbox at webmaster@. When I read the email it SAYS its went to myaccountname@cortez.dreamhost.com, which is not my email address, but is my actual account.

I'm assuming that for some reason Dreamhost is sending ALL bounced and broken mail originating from my domain to myacct@cortez.
