Site shows blank page - bandwidth...?

Ok, so I got picked up at Digg today and am getting a ton of hits today (relative for me). Things were going great until I just checked my site and get nothing. Go here:

I have bandwidth throttling enabled, but with 2336 gigs per month in my hosting plan, I don't see how that kicked in...

Any suggestions on how I can find out what's up?

:edit: I just read about how to create a throttling page, so that's been added. Is there a way to get an up to the minute update on how much bandwidth I'm using? Panel.dreamhost.com still says I've only used a couple-hundred megs.Edited by TimS on 11/10/06 08:59 AM (server time).

As of the time of this post, your site is coming up fine for me. There is a "slight" lag waiting for the page (maybe 3-4 seconds), which is probably caused by the "larger than normal" number of con-current hits you are getting as a result of Digg, but it is *much better* than the lag I normally find on sites suffering the "Digg effect". smile

I don't know how to check your bandwidth usage in "realtime"; the DH stats are only updated once per day.

Thanks. I had throttling set at 1100 gigs. I upped it to 1300 gigs to see if that mattered, but I don't know whether that had anything to do with my site going back online. I've seen about 18,000 visitors so far today, which shouldn't eat up anywhere near the 2 tb per month...but still...I'm a little nervous. $1 per gig could get expensive...

Install awstats, and use it's manual update option, or a cron job. It displays bandwidth and all sorts of stats.

I don't know if it was related to your problem or not, but since you're using Wordpress, here's a section in the wiki about blank pages in WP.

And just as an update I did manage to score 30,000 hits on that day, but didn't come close to using up my bandwidth for the month, so it must have just been a glitch. So, I appreciate all the help.
