When ý creat a subdomain like that :

i have an error like that..

Hi,

I should contact support as this error has to be 'fixed' by them. It's likely the result of something else and a coincidence that it occurred when you created a subdomain.

I had the same thing yesterday and they resolved it within 30 minutes.

Exactly what are you doing to create your subdomain? Are you editing your DNS records manually? If so, then it can't be fixed by them easily, and you'll have to undo whatever it is you did. You add a subdomain exactly the same way you added your original domain name to DH's system.

i will tell what i am doing step by step..

1-i had a domain www.angelinamaniacs.com from another copany

2-i changed its dns to the ns1-ns2-ns3 dreamhost.com

3-then ý added my domain here..after 10-15 minute0 my site was ok..ý can see it..no problem

4-then i wanted to creat a forum..but not like :
www.angelinamaniacs.com/forum
i want to creat it in a subdomain like :
forum.angelinamaniacs.com

5-then i visit menage domains again..

6-i click the add new domain/subdomain..

7-then i created a subdomain like that:
(please see the pictures)

8-then ý click to the ''full host this domain now'' and it said it is succesfull..

9-i waited 10-20 minute then i saw a new drectory in my ftp.

as : forum.angelinamaniacs.com

10-but when i visit it , i have that error..

11-then i put a index.html to test it..same problem again..

thats all what i did..and now waiting help..


i dont know where did ý go wrong..i didnt change any dns for :

forum.angelinamaniacs.com

i just did it as shown in picture ..write its name..then click host it..

hope somebody will help...

Hmmm... the sub-domain above appears to be working, at least I don't get an error when I visit it. Instead I get a page with a few lines like...

fgadgsdgsdgsdfg

Which I presume is the index.html file you referred to in your post.

If you are still receiving the error in your browser, try clearing your browser cache and re-loading the page.

I did notice that your while your forum.angelinamaniacs.com sub-domain was reachable, www.forum.angelinamaniacs.com did not resolve for me.

If you have not configured it this way, then it is possible that the DNS information has not fully propagated yet.

Refresh the page. You won't see any change whatsoever until you do that. Then, your forum should come up. I just went there and it's exactly how you say it should be.

Try clearing your cache again and re-loading the page, because I see the SMF page here, but of-course, I dont understand the language. :)

i think there is a problem in my computer..
because i uploaded swf. forum.
i installed it..
then i changed somethings on it..
everything was going on so nice for 1-2 hours..
but now,
i cant see my page again..:)

i said some of friends to visit that page , they said they see..but i dont..

Yeah sure, no problem.

Well, the forum comes up fine for me. Some of the buttons etc. are in a language foreign to me, but I browsed around a little and it seems to be working fine. :)

For your information; I am using FireFox 1.5.0.7 under Windows XP Pro SP2.
