I made a custom image for the log-in page, entered the url, but the image does not show up. Is there a secret I am not understanding?

In the control panel when you go to Mail->Webmail, does it say that your have a custom login? Did you use the complete URL with the http:// and the rest? What format is your image file?

Did you enter it using the ControlPanel via the webmail edit option?

The image location needs to be entered in the URL box on that page. I found I had to remove the s from https:// in the box which is offered by default.

Thanks,
Yes, the control panel says it is custom & I used the full url. (without the httpS) The format is .png & I used the same size as the default image.

Do you get the old image or the broken image icon? It can take several hours to show up although in practise it seems to work straight away.

So you have made your file and uploaded it to your site, say http://example.com/smx_logo.png

Then in the webmail log box you have entered http://example.com/smx_logo.png

If that is not working you might be best sending in a support request. You can enter the file manually but then you would have to update a squirremail config file.

Norm,
Yep, I did all that. About 5 hours ago, & still no image. I guess you are right about asking support. Thanks for your prompt & helpful replies.

do you have hotlinking on? i noticed that the only way i could get custom images to appear with hotlinking on was to allow webmail.mydomian.com to hot link to images on the same domain.
