Access Denied to DB

I went through the wiki stuff on the site, setting up Putty and MySQL Admin etc. And I still get the same error:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'ttoastt'@'dinar.dreamhost.com' (using password: YES)

I made myself able to modify the DB from my home IP, localhost, 127.0.0.1, %.dreamhost.com and it still gives me this error. My name IS listed as being able to edit the DB, and so I'm incredibly frustrated and at a loss.

Any ideas?

Do you go through any routers or firewalls that might affect how the outside world sees your ip?

The server will most likely see it as the one here http://www.whatismyip.com/

Make sure that's what you've added in:

From what hosts (computers) may USER connect to these databases?

Are you able to use that user from phpmyadmin?
