AWstats - viewing last month's stats

Hi all

I installed AWStats as per the wiki instructions (http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/AWStats_Installation) - now we're in July, how do I view June's stats? I can't see an option to view a particular month's stats.

Thanks

I do not have AWStats installed at DreamHost but on other hosts where I do do then there is a drop down menu at the top of the page just underneath 'Last update' and to the right of 'Reported period'.

Thanks for the reply, Norm.

Unfortunately I don't have any dropdown menus on my page, and certainly none in the area you mentioned. Maybe I screwed up the installation? Or maybe there's a config switch I missed?

Thanks for your help.

It could be that you did not change the number of days to retain the statistics/logs for. I think the default is three days. Did you install in June?

The stats are set to be retained for 180 days, and I installed in the middle of June. Thanks.

I did my own install of AWStats which includes the sidebar. You can grab my install package at:

scott - many thanks for your reply. Rather than re-install AWStats, though, I put a dirty hack in place. Every night after the update routine, I run a cron job which grabs the stats page via curl and saves it to the /stats directory as stats-MM-YY.htm where MM is the month and YY is the year.

This way, at the end of the month I'll have a full copy of that month's page and the new month's data will be written to stats-MM+1-YY.htm.

Not the most efficient routine, but it works!

Thanks to everyone for their help.
