out going email quota exceeded

i've only recently been having trouble sending out mass emails on my DH email account. i am not using webmail but Entourage on my Apple G4 running OS X 10.3.9

here's the error message i'm getting:

Error

Recipient address rejected: Policy
Rejection: Quota Exceeded. wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Smtp-quota

Explanation

Mail could not be sent.
Account name: (my email address)

Error: -17099


the recipient list is rather large but i have not had any problems
sending things out this way until the last month or so. sending to large email groups/lists like in this case is one of the main reasons i bought a domain and hosting service. i've read about a 100 msg or rcpt / hr limit on the DH wiki, but if that is so, why have i not had problems sending such messages until just the last month or so? and if this is the problem, how do i increase this limit/quota? this is an essential part of my emailing so i'm rather concerned that this is happening.

now i'm getting an error message that says:

bad address syntax


help, anyone???

The email restrictions are new and have been put in place as an anti-spam measure.

The best way to work around this is to use Dreamhost's discussion lists. If you don't want to do that, you must find a way to set things so that only 100 messages per hour go out. You can still send several E-mails but only 100 per hour, 100 the next...
