ok so im trying let a buddy of mine upload some stuff on my server. I added a ftp user for him, but how do I set permissions that he can't change? I log into the user i created for him to chmod the folders, but all he has to do is log in and change them, how do i set it so he can only upload, and can not delete the files. I don't get it...

Not much you can do. An FTP user owns that domain. You *could* create a subdomain for that user, which is a more tricky process.

I gave a friend a subdirectory off one of my domains by making his account then going to Remap Sub-Dir under domains. He can upload and delete his files, but can't see any of mine and his files show up as www.mydomain.com/hisname/
