rails:paths not working

Hi,
app that worked before, I uploaded new version and after fixing some overwrites I did, all the images and css paths stopped working.
For example DreamHost banner
http://www.onerandomsite.com/images/468x60-e.gif
althogh it is in /public/images is not displaying.
I used to have this problem before and fixed it, but can't remember what I did. If anyone has idea what to do, please help me out.
