mysql panel doesn't match phpmyadmin

Hi, there were some problems earlier with the one click installs, and I had multiple databases which I found out was not what dreamhost supports, and now I tried to reset the mysql panel by deleting all my databases, and mysql.domain.com host names, and creating a new fresh, single hostname/db. Problem is that it doesn't seem to be affecting the actual database at all, although my new mysql.domain.com works, the actual database doesn't show up in the panel.dreamhost.com... anyone know how to fix this?!! tnx
