No SQL query! (???)

Okay. I've set up a database host, database and fully permissioned user for said database. When I log into phpMyAdmin to manually upload my .mysql files in order to manually set up an install of CivicSpace, I constantly get the following error:
No SQL query!
...and no tables are created. I have no idea why this is happening. Also, I notice no "import" function link when I log into phpMyAdmin.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
