Remote Access/Mysql

How can I grant remote access to a database on my DH account? I am moving a site to the DH server, and have set a dreamhosters.com subdomain and mirrored it in the meantime. I want the messageboard on the current site to run off of the DH database now, before I change the DNS. Is this possible? Right now, if I change the details on th old server, I get this error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): #HY000Host '72.36.193.82' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

The search feature is wonderful. You have to edit the datbase to allow the ip address of the machine you want to connect with. By default all DH servers can connect, but nothing else. Panel > Goodies > Mysql > edit
