Mozilla Thunderbird - Cant log in!

An hour before this post, Thunderbird wouldnt connect to my mail server (mail.jazz-kitten.org) at all (and the address had been set up a few hours before). Suddenly, it does, but now, it wont log in. I've double and triple checked that I have the correct username and password, but still no luck.
Also: It was working fine before, and then all of a sudden it couldnt connect. So I deleted the account and made a new one, and it still wouldnt connect, then after a few hours it did. -confused-
