"Relay access denied"

I set up an e-mail address for my domain earlier and it worked fine for a few hours--now I find that I cannot receive any e-mail at that address.
The following is the message that I got back--other people cannot e-mail me as well:
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
(reason: 554: Relay access denied)
Can anyone help? Thanks!
