Mail rejecting password

I can't receive mail. The client says my password was rejected. But, I can send mail. My mail server is murdock. I have been affected by these flaky email problems for several weeks now. It's getting old. I just moved here 2 months ago. The other day, someone asked if I could recommend a web host.
It must be a very hard problem to fix.
