I think the last time this happened the junk filter crapped out.

No announcement from DreamHost yet

Also happening to me. I don't think it may be the Junk Filter, as it did not bounce my messages the last time. But I think DH has a big huge stinky e-mail server problem and I really do not like to have my e-mails bounced. Bad, bad DH, no donut for you.

Same problem. Email is getting bounced and nothing is going through.

Yep, it's widespread. And, to make matters worse, for every minute that the servers are 'offline', it will add to the logjam of messages as they come in (when things get fixed).

As of about 3 minutes ago things are flowing again for me.

I'm going through the logs right now to try to determine what happened, but it can be difficult...

Does anyone know if any email was lost or was it only delayed?

I think it is safe to assume that mail may have been bouncing during the email downtime. We don't like to bounce email obviously, and we're going to look deeper to figure out where the flaw in our system is.
