POP3/SMTP server for extra domain?

have added an extra domain(ex. extradomain.com) & set up an e-mail address (xxx@extradomain.com) in the control panel. The pop3/smtp server could be "mail.extradomain.com" or must be "mail.maindomain.com" for the xxx@extradomain.com ?
