FTP users in sub-dirs

Is there a way to set it up so I can have user123 go to ftp://site.com, sign in with user123, pass123, and end up in the folder for toxeia.com/user123 ?
I'd like to share my space with a friend, and set up a sub-domain for them, but when i give them a ftp username, itp uts them in a separate folder in home (/home/user123) and since I'm (/home/Toxeia) they can't get to my folders and webspace.
