smtp error 451 :: temporary lookup failure

Hi, is anyone else having problems on Happy's mailserver the with outgoing smtp...sometimes it works...sometimes we receive a temporary lookup failure on both mac and pc.

plus, all incoming mail, is not working...it acts like it connects to the server, but no mail is there. We are sending ourselves mail that seems to be lost in cyberspace.

"Temporary lookup failure."

Murdocks' server is sporadically working now...

Although the emails I did send to myself from another server still haven't arrived...

Happy was wrong server...happy is my web server...am so lost.....

I am now receiving "An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic."

Has anyone posted a support ticket on this? I don't want to inundate them with the same tickets...know they are slammed right now.Edited by gonewthewind on 02/02/05 02:31 PM (server time).

We are still getting these errors, ...is anyone else? Should I send in a support request?

It seems to be working again...my client was getting anxious earlier, not being able to send mail again. It just seems to go down for about 15 minutes or so, then back up...

???
