Stats storage space?

Hi,
Does anyone know if all the data for my stats uses my own web space, or is this data stored elsewhere? Thanks!

The default setup is on Dreamhost.
If you request to keep longer periods of stats however, through your web panel, then the extra disk space comes out of your account.

I saw all the folders in my FTP, and was concerned that I'd run out of disk space. Thanks!
