Can't See My Site?

I tried uploading my site through Dreamweaver CS3, (I tried every combination of settings, Passive, ...and so on with no success).

I was able to login to the Web FTP and managed to upload all my files under my sites name folder (i.e. dreamhost.com). All the files are under this folder but when I go to my website address I get a Network Timeout Error that says "The operation timed out when attempting to contact ...."

I understand that these are two seperate issues but if I can get help on one or the other, I just want to get my site up. I've done this before using other hosting companies with no issues so I don't know what's up.

It worked itself out... I guess I just had to wait because the site showed up and now I can connect even though I didn't change any settings. I've never had this happen with any other hosting before.

Sounds like propagation was still underway.
