I set up a web form for people to subscribe to my announce list according to the directions on the Wiki, and when I test it I get:

Attention Webmaster! Form Misconfiguration

Your list "" at domain "mydomain.com" is invalid!
(The list address is invalid: alias is blank).

What did I do wrong?

DUH! It's a script issue. The people having trouble with the forms had javascript turned off, or were using some sort of script-blocker to limit access. They couldn't get the cgi form to work. I guess I'll just note that on the form page. D'oh.
