Hi,

I use dreamhost to host jokatimes.com. This is a wordpress based online newpaper for my school. We recently had an uptick in the traffic and since then we have been getting a 500 error. I really need to fix this asap! Any help will be appreciated. I've tried to look for the error logs, but have not found them either.

If you have an uptick in traffic, then you should turn on caching, such as SuperCache.

Logs are in your FTP user's home directory.

I upped your PS resource allocation to 750MB and your site started working again. You'll want to read this article http://wiki.dreamhost.com/PS_Optimization
