Pop and SMTP for email accounts

We're currently hosting email only with dreamhost and using the mx1.balanced.homie.mail.dreamhost.com.(10) address as the domain pointer for the mx record. But we cannot download our email to outlook because we do not know what pop/smtp address is associated with this mx record, does anyone know? We tried mail.dreamhost.com and that didnt work.

We cannot use mail.OURDOMAIN.COM b/c the a-record isnt pointing to Dreamhost.

You can use the format MACHINE.mail.dreamhost.com. MACHINE is the mail server listed under Account Status in the panel (upper right corner).
