Email mailing list

Hi, I am setting up a mailing list. I would like to use the announcement feature from dreamhost since its free! I got it set up as far as the name and email etc. but where do i send the people to subscribe or unsubscribe? most mailing list emails always have the "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the page.. any help on setting this up?
