Transfer between 2 DH accounts

I am giving a couple of domains (and all the data, files, etc for them) to another DH account. I am not sure how to go about doing it though!
On the "new" account, I go to create a fully hosted domain (what it will be on the new one, what it already is on the present one) and I get this "Can't add domain: already in our system.". My account and the "new" users account are on different servers.
What do I need to do to get the stuff onto the other users account/server?
(the files are already in place with tar and ftp between the 2 accounts/servers, but not the hosting!)
