how to test before migrating to dh

Hi,
I'm migrating from another hosting company to dh.
I'd like to know how I can set up a testing sub domain name to be able to make all the test before fully migrate to dh?

Hi Fred, welcome to DreamHost!

You can add a free test subdomain using your panel:

Domains > Manage Domains > Add New Domain / Sub Domain


In the Domain to Host field, input:

yourdomainname.dreamhosters.com

And click the "Fully Host this Domain Now!" button.
