I'm going to move my site from another host to Dreamhost and would like to set Wordpress up before transferring the domain. Is there a way to do that using the one-click install feature, or should I install WP manually?

The One-Click WP Installs work extremely well.
Use the Advanced version if you want the ability to customise completely.

I found this page that tells how to mirror the domain using domain.dreamhosters.com:

It worked very well with the advanced version of the one-click WP install.
