My site is really slow

Hi,

I have a Joomla site that runs seyret and fireboard components. It's soo slow, and I think it might have to do with how many queries Seyret runs but I'm not sure.

I have a VPS now through DH and would love to try to speed up the site. I'm willing to pay someone a small fee for any help getting it moving faster or put a link on my links page!

Have you tried it after turning caching on?

I don't know what that means or how to do that. Sorry, I'm a bit of a novice! :)

In your admin panel take a look at Site > Global Configuration > System

Over on the right there's a spot to enable the cache

Ah yes! I actually have it set to yes.

It also says 900 seconds for cache time. If I changed that, would that help?

I do think it has to do with the queries that my components pull but if you have any other suggestions, I would love to hear them! :)
