Deleting old directory folders

Hi. I am trying to delete some folders left over from old websites or other folders with the .old attached at the end. I have tried to do this in FileZilla and in webftp but those folders don't seem to go anywhere.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting this done.

I do not need these ancient website folders anymore.

I've had this problem before, and it was due to Permissions. If *you* have had luck with some folders, but not others, contact Support and have them "recursively chown" the folders over to you.

Just tell them the full path, like "/home/nightcoder/example.com/gallery.old"
