any good alternatives after dreamhost??

I love dreamhost, just sometimes to frustating.

ONLY interested in alternatives, no explanations and NO negative reactions. Dreamhost rocks, but just a secondairy host to if needed jump over for a week and then come back.
So just a backup host, so business come flow and flow

Probably best to search via Google rather than ask here.
Then you can check out their own forums for quality or not.
I tried not to be negative.

You failed to list what your looking for in a secondary host... There are various free services out there that can help with secondary services...

If your looking for just about everything dreamhost offers... check out freeshell:
http://freeshell.org/

If you just need to be able to host some static "underconstruction" pages and backup email or the like, check out google apps:

Sure! You can read a book, watch TV, or maybe eat a sandwich.

The best recommendation is from someone you know/trust in real life, that has no reason to push a certain host.

The recommendation at any host's forum should be that host... or a spammer for someone else, neither of which is exactly unbiased.

Host rating sites are useless affiliate link dumps and that's probably where most Google searches will take you.

You could check out sites like webhostingtalk.com as well, but anymore, they seem to be mostly hosts posting to get their sigs out there, bashing competitors, etc...
