Hello,
Apparently there is something wrong with my database server. I am using a wordpress blog. The site has been running fine up until today. I am getting the following error message:
"Error establishing a database connection"
I can add static html pages and view them fine. Is anyone else having issues or is it something with my site?
I have contacted DreamHost but have not yet gotten a response.

If you think it's a hardware issue, check the System Status link in your Panel (it's up top).

I dont know. It was working for like 5 minutes a little while ago. It's also slow.
There are no issues mentioned on the system status page. I still havent gotten a response from DreamHost either. I am finding their support is not the best.
Edit: I just received this message from DreamHost, but the site is still not working.
"Sorry about this, it seems there was an issue with the network address that was associated with your MySQL instance. This has been corrected and your site is now working. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions please let me know."
