A Google search will give you everything you need. The DreamHost Wiki is designed to assist in DreamHost-specific matters (for the most part). The techniques used to promote a website are generic to all sites hosted by any hosting company.

You may want to stop using blue text for things that are not links. It is generally confusing to most users.

The wiki is written (mostly) by customers like you and me. There are some suggestions about promotion in the articles, but no specific article has yet been written that covers this. Perhaps one will be written in the future.
