dispatch.fcgi not updating pages unless killed?

Was just curious if anyone else out there was seeing this issue:

Any time I make any changes to the code in my rails pages I have to kill my dispatch.fcgi processes to get the pages to update. This has only been going on for the last week or so, but it's annoying as heck when I'm trying to troubleshoot.

I'm thinking this could be related to the 1.0 -> 1.1 upgrade process that's been going on lately. Should I just wait until the upgrade is complete? I'm running in development mode since it's a work in progress, so I'm not going to freeze my app.

Development mode does not work completely correctly with FastCGI and should NEVER be used with FastCGI on our servers. It has known memory leaks and is not intended for use on production servers.
