official support for subversion

It seems like subversion is installed and running on my dreamhost server and I have some repositories set up using the information here http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Subversion.
I just wondered if there was any official word on whether svn is officially supported (e.g. I can rely on my repositories not suddenly breaking at some point and dreamhost not helping me to get the data back... I notice that subversion itself isn't an option on the suggestion page (https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=home.sugg& ) so I wonder if this means it is a suggestion that was implemented?
